I found this powerful statement from Dale Carnegie; I wish to have as my epitaph: “Here lies a man who was wise enough to bring into his service men who knew more than he.”   - Randy Haugen 

Some leaders make the mistake of seeing themselves in competition with their own people.  Zig Ziglar once said, “Success is the maximum utilization of the ability that you have.”

John Maxwell takes this concept to the next level with this insight, “I believe success can be defined as the maximum utilization of the abilities of those under him.”
