As a newly married couple, we started looking for some kind of business opportunity. Although we enjoyed our careers, we always new that the way to get ahead in life was to own our own business. At the time we weren't exactly sure what type of business venture to pursue . Norm thought about opening a machine shop with several of his brothers, but had seen others head out into similar businesses without any great success. An antique shop was the next venture that we considered, but dismissed the idea shortly thereafter. We both had an interest in jewelry/watchmaking and repair, and were given the opportunity to buy out a well established jeweler, who because of age and health concerns, had decided to retire but wanted to pass along his 'legacy' to someone with a keen interest and love of the field. After long consideration, we thanked the gentleman for his gracious offer, but decided we'd go another direction after we came to the realization that all of the business ventures we had looked at would have required a substantial investment, and they also would have owned US, rather than us owning the business. We were looking for something that had the potential to gain back some of our time, not something that was going to take up more of our already limited time.

When we were first introduced to this business plan, common sense told us that this is where business was headed. We knew it looked like a sound, profitable venture, and the more we researched it, the more we found this opportunity had all of the qualities that were looking for in a business:

- low start-up cost/low overhead

- the ability to gain back time

- profit potential limited only by our vision and willingness to work

- tremendous support.

We were then introduced not only to this business opportunity, but also to a support team through Harteis International. We were impressed by their integrity and their willingness to share their knowledge and experience. With the guidance of Fred and Linda Harteis, and the rest of our support team, our business began to flourish.

Our relationship with Harteis International has been such an exciting and positive experience, allowing us to grow not only our business, but in all areas of our life: personal, family, and spiritual. It was only natural then, that when Harteis International looked toward the future and started moving ahead with current technology, that we continued our business relationship with Harteis as their newest venture, Biznet Productions, was launched. Biznet Productions maintains the same high standards as it looks toward the future, and we feel blessed to be part of the Biznet team. As a young person, most of my days were spent working side by side with my father, a farmer and my grandfather, a mason. Those experiences shaped my life.   Biznet Productions gives us an opportunity to build a business side by side with our children and our grandchildren and in turn influence their lives.

We feel compelled to write our thoughts so that you may gain a better understanding of the impact that Fred and Linda Harteis, founders of BizNet Productions, have had on our lives.  You may ask many questions as we did.  My hope is that you will get the facts as we did.  Below is my response to benefits of owning and operating your own business with BizNet Productions.
 
 
What are the benefits from our affiliation with BizNet Productions and Fred and Linda Harteis?
1.  INCOME-As educators we have realized that our school system fails to teach financial intelligence.  We knew that we needed to do something else to supplement our incomes.  We read 2 books that changed our thinking.  Rich Dad, Poor Dad and CashFlow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki.  We realized that 5% of Americans obtain financial freedom and that they fall into 2 categories, business owners and investors.  Our odds of obtaining financial freedom were slim working for someone else.  Since our affiliation with BizNet Productions we have earned extra income that allowed us to do many things that income from our jobs would not.
2.  A PROVEN SYSTEM-When I thought of the word system, I thought of a McDonald's franchise.  Think about it, the deep fryer is on the left, the drive thru is also on the left, the menu is overhead, the ice cream is on the right, etc.  We know that franchise systems work, however, we did not have the capital to invest in a McDonald's.  This business system is proven as well.  There is an 8 step pattern that is proven.  The truth.....if you change the McDonald's proven pattern of success, they cannot guarantee your success.  Same here, if you fail to follow the 8 step pattern, you will not succeed.  We have followed the system that has been developed and we have succeeded at developing a Platinum business.  THE SYSTEM WORKS.
3.  PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT-As educators, we are encouraged to continue our education either by obtaining Masters Degrees, Permanent Certification, Highly Qualified Status, Principals Certificates, Doctorates etc.  Money is alloted by most school districts so that teachers continue to learn strategies and to keep abreast of educational topics.  BizNet Productions promotes the same ongoing educational program.  This business system has done more for my personal and professional development than all my college courses combined.  I am a better wife, mother, business partner, teacher, friend, and person because of the books, tapes, and seminars that the system promotes.  I have seen speakers like John Maxwell, Lou Holtz, Jamie Clarke, Mike Murdock, Peggy Fleming, RUDY, and many more.  When you listen to the speakers above, you know that great things take time and hard work.  The personal development is ongoing much like the education field.  Only this development will benefit me and my family long term. 
4.  MENTORSHIP-Again in education, when you enter your last year of college, you are assigned to student teach.  You are paired with an experienced teacher who is there to mentor you in the classroom.  If you want to achieve financial independence, you don't go to someone who has not for advise.  Fred and Linda Harteis have spent time with us and they have mentored us in building our business.  They have built a successful business and they have devoted their lives to helping others do the same. 
 
My final thoughts.....I always think back to the first time that I took a serious look at BizNet Productions.  As the saying goes, don't put all your eggs in one basket.  As Americans, we think that working a job for 40 years will fulfil our needs financially.  I walk into Wal-Mart from time to time and drive through a McDonald's drive thru and I am devastated by the number of elderly people working in their 60's, 70's and 80's.  We live in the freest country in the history of the world and our retired parents and grandparents are working another job beyond retirement.  I don't believe it is because they need something to do.  It breaks my heart to see them working after they worked 40 years to earn the right to retire!!!  Prepare now for your future.  Don't put all your eggs in one basket because someday that secure company that you work for may take that basket away.  I hope that you will get the facts and join the best business system on planet earth!!!
