The Biznet Productionssystem, though Fred and Linda Harteis, suggest many great books for self development.  While reading "The 5 Pillars of Leadership" by Paul Meyer & Randy Slechta, I was continually struck by the nuggets of wisdom.  For instance "In the quest to manage change, you cannot forget to continue working to change yourself."  These and many other words of wisdom continue to fill my mind with possibilities.
