            Naturopaths and other holistic practitioners are dependent upon organic foods suppliers for the organic foods they recommend.  Organic agriculture and their suppliers are dependent upon the medical community to support their efforts to produce and distribute organic food.  In a nutshell – one cannot exist without the other. When a veterinary client sees the improvement in the health of their animal after holistic therapy, they invariably desire the same improvement in their own health. That is when they seek out a holistic practitioner like a naturopathic physician.

Since my introduction to the holistic veterinary health field 23 years ago, I have supported farmers and their production of organic food.  It has been gratifying to see major grocery stores have organic foods available to their consumers.  Mutual benefits will be realized by the business and the community at large.
