Dexter Yager knows that true happiness comes in chasing your dreams, not reaching them.
"Unfortunately, the average person’s life consists of twenty years of having parents ask where you’re going, forty years of having a spouse ask the same question, and finally, at the end, the mourner wonders the same thing," writes Dexter. "Martin Luther King, Jr. said, ‘If a man hasn’t discovered something that he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.’ For Birdie and I, success always started with a dream that seemed impossible, but once that dream was pursued and worked, over time it gradually became true."
Nothing in Dexter Yager’s business happened overnight. "The road to success runs uphill," he says, "so don’t expect to break any speed records. Once you get your dream going, all you have to do is maintain it’s momentum."
